Blueberry Protein Donuts!

These are such a yummy treat. They are sweet, cakey, and the best texture. They also have the craziest macros EVER! {Macros listed at the end of the recipe, I will give you a hint they are under 100 calories}. These donuts are so easy. Trust me, I get very impatient when baking and if I can do this you can too. What you will need:

Donuts:

  • 1 scoop protein powder {I used PEScience snickerdoodle, their protein bakes really well}.
  • 1 cup flour {I tried to sub almond flour the first time I made this…don’t do that lol}.
  • 3/4 cup cashew milk
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • donut baking pan

You will start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. To make the donuts you combine all of the above ingredients and stir.

Spray your donut pan thoroughly, you don’t want them sticking when taking them out! Bake for 10 minutes.

IMG_7952.JPGCream Cheese Frosting:

  • 1/2 block of fat free cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp cashew milk
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • Ziploc bag {I use this to pipe the icing and just cut off a little corner}.

Now you will decorate your donuts with the frosting once they have cooled!
